Alpha-Stim

Alpha-Stim (CES) is a Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation device that clients can use during a therapy session or EMDR session to help reduce Anxiety, Depression and Insomnia. Alpha-Stim applies low level of current across the head.  It is FDA cleared.

The Alpha-Stim sends an Alpha wave to the brain. It activates the parasympathetic nervous system to calm the Amygdala (the flight, fight freeze) area of our brain. Alpha-Stim is a game changer when used during therapy sessions. It allows the brain to get into the “zone” of being calm, relaxed but also learning. It helps to create more neuroplasticity in the brain allowing for nervous system shifts and lasting changes for clients.

With clients consent Alpha-Stim can be used in therapy sessions or EMDR sessions. There is no fee for the use of Alpha-Stim in session. Clients report feeling calm, relaxed but alert. They are less anxious and find it easier to sleep.
