* Some therapists are independent contractors. Fees and policies listed here apply to services through Vancouver EMDR Therapy and may differ from their private practice rates

Most insurance plans offer “out of network” benefits for therapy. The full cost of the session is required at the time of service. Please call your insurance company to ask about your out of network benefits.

For clients wishing to use their out of network insurance benefits we can provide you with the necessary document called a “Superbill” for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. To learn more about how to check on your insurance benefits and how to submit Superbill’s please click here.

If we are not paneled with your insurance company then you have the option to pay out of pocket or “private pay” for your therapy services. This means that you wont be submitting a “Superbill” to your insurance company for reimbursement. This allows the client to have more freedom and privacy with their mental health services including: no limits on frequency or number of sessions and a diagnosis is not required for treatment.

Private pay clients who aren’t seeking insurance reimbursement through the use of a “Superbill” can request a Good Faith Estimate of the expected charges. Please discuss this with your therapist.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, FSA and HSA cards, as well as cash and check, for client payments.

  • More Time for Meaningful Healing
90-minute EMDR sessions offer extra time to go deeper without feeling rushed. This allows your brain to stay engaged in the healing process and reduces the chance of stopping in the middle of difficult material.
  • Support for Regulation and Grounding
Longer sessions include more time for grounding and settling at both the beginning and end of your appointment. Many clients find they leave feeling more steady and supported, rather than overwhelmed or emotionally raw.
  • Helpful for Complex or High-Stress Experiences
Extended sessions can be especially helpful if you’re working through complex trauma, medical trauma, dissociation, or a particularly stressful season of life. The slower pace allows for care, safety, and better integration of what comes up.

To learn more about how EMDR extended sessions can support your healing, please visit our EMDR Extended Sessions page.

For clients seeking even longer sessions for more focused or intensive work, our EMDR Intensives may be a good option.
